Naviin Gandharv A multi-talented musician who plays the unique instrument‘Belabaharr’ invented in 1980 by his father Pt.Babulal Gandharv is a unique instrument that merges the principles of Violin , Sarangi & Vocal music.Pt.Naviin continues to drive this legacy with new creativity of poetic ,aesthetic and Rhythmic feel .Belabaharr is not just a gift to world music but also a pride of India. He is also a class distinct Tabla player with equal passion & dexterity which gives listeners a melodic & spiritual bliss through Rhythm by years of saadhna, listening & learning from great mentors like Ustad Allarakha,it polished him to be a dynamic & versatile performer living up to his name. Pt.Naviin has performed for various musical & other prestigious institutions like NCPA,ICCR,IMG etc A rare artist to be selected by ICCR in both the instruments. He has conducted many LEC-DEM and workshops for Essar Group,Whistling Woods International, Chinmaya mission guiding many youngsters. He has collaborated with many international artists & bands like Mala UK ,Hangmassive France, Tetseo Sisters India, Avanti Nagral US, Hamed Soraya Iran ,Philip Mescheryakov Russia ,Istevan Jeszenski Hungary ,Falu Shah US , Raimund Imo Germany ,Ignatius Camilo India etc. In 2008 He founded Anuraaj a highly acclaimed classical band promoting India's heritage to audiences of all age groups all over .It combines Indian and Western Instruments, infusing creativity in performances curated on the basis of the audience and space. With the strong belief that music breaks barriers, forges bonds and holds the key to a pleasant tomorrow, Pt.Naviin remains dedicated to enlightening ,entertaining, educating & presenting his virtuosity to everyone
